Butyl primary sealant
IGK 511 HT is a further development of our classic IGK 511. The one-component, thermoplastic, solvent-free and UV-stable sealant based on polyisobutylene was developed to provide additional support for insulating glass units subject to particular mechanical stress - especially for oversized insulating glass units.
IGK 511 HT has the usual outstanding adhesive strength and sealing properties and adheres excellently to glass, plastic, aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised steel. Very fast melting, high volume yield and a constant application quantity over a very wide temperature range ensure an uncomplicated and smooth production process.
