At the 2024 Christmas party, IGK founder Dr. Michael Vollrath-Rödiger announced that he was handing over the chairmanship of the management board to James Rodo, who has been in charge of IGK's North American business for several years.

For four days, glasstec 2024, the world's leading trade fair for glass production, glass processing and glass products, was the meeting place for the international glass industry. As a decades-long partner of the insulating glass industry, IGK's stand was also a destination for trade visitors from all over the world.
