Welcome to IGK Insulating Glass Sealants

IGK supplies the basic adhesives and sealants needed to produce insulating glass windows: primary and secondary sealants and the Thermoplastic Spacer®.

The quality of our products has contributed to making us the European market leader of insulating glass sealants made from polyurethane.

As an SME (small and medium enterprise), we know each of our customers personally. And each of them knows: IGK understands my business and has a service, on which I can count at all times.

Developing innovations is how we define ourselves and what spurs us on. We launched mercury-free polyurethane on the market back in 2001 – many years before the announced ban on mercury.

Our headquarters are in the heart of Germany and you can find our branches and representatives all over Europe and overseas.

IGK launched the first mercury-free polyurethane on the market back in 2001 – long before the EU Directive of 2012 that will ban the use of mercury-containing catalysts in polyurethane systems from 2017.

IGK manufactures all its products completely within Germany and is certified in accordance with the quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001 and the environmental management standard EN ISO 14001.

IGK is represented all over Europe and also overseas in countries with high production of insulated glass. Our German headquarters provides direct customer support to German-speaking regions and those countries not specified.
