Thermoplastic spacer
IGK 611 is a one-component, thermoplastic, solvent-free spacer based on polyisobutylene that was specially developed for processing in automated extruder lines. It is characterized by excellent flow and excellent adhesion to glass, both during hot application and during subsequent pressing of the cold pane. The special mix of low viscosity and high stability ensures low pump stress while maintaining a spacer width of up to 20 mm.
In combination with our secondary sealant IGK 130, the edge bond of the insulating glass unit is additionally mechanically stiffened and offers a modern alternative to the classic spacer system.
