Butyl primary sealant
IGK 511 HT is a further development of our classic IGK 511. This is a one-component, thermoplastic, solvent-free, UV-stable sealant based on polyisobutylene that was developed to provide additional support for insulating glass units with particular mechanical stress – especially for oversized insulating glass units.
IGK 511 HT has the usual excellent adhesive strength and tightness and adheres excellently to glass, plastic, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel.
Very fast melting, high volume yield and a constant application quantity over a very wide temperature range ensure an uncomplicated and smooth production process.
