Butyl primary sealant
IGK 511 is a one-component, thermoplastic, solvent-free, UV-stable sealant based on polyisobutylene for the primary sealing of insulating glass elements.
Our “butyl” offers excellent sealing properties over a wide temperature range. The excellent adhesion to glass, plastic, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel makes IGK 511 the ideal candidate for a variety of composite systems.
IGK 511 impresses with its very fast melting, high volume yield and a constant application quantity over a very wide temperature range.
